Community and Economic Development

The Town of Shelburne's Community and Economic Development Office facilitates and supports community and economic development planning and initiatives; identifies and fosters community economic development opportunities; secures funding for economic development activities and programs; and promotes the community in order to secure opportunities for economic and business development and increase local employment in the Town of Shelburne.

The CED Office is also responsible for issuing Development Permits for the Town of Shelburne, and administrative supervison of Pine Grove Cemetery.

      Community and Economic Development Committee

The Town of Shelburne's Community and Economic Development Committee is a Standing Committee of Town Council. The Committee was established by the Town to engage citizens in exploring and developing ways for the Town and its citizens to enhance and promote community economic development in Shelburne.

The Committee held its first meeting early in 2013.

The Committee meets monthly, usually on the third Monday at 7:00pm in the Council Chambers of the Town Hall.
